This section of the Women in Control web site collects a list of possibilities you have to get more involved in the IEEE Control Systems Society or facilities for IEEE CSS members.  If you wish to suggest new items, you can either send an e-mail to the WiC Newsletter Editor or contact the Web Team Coordinator.

The CSS Technical Committee on Control Education would like to invite the Standing Committee on Women in Control for collaboration on the following two projects: "NSF-CSS Mentoring Travel Grants for Women" and "project on CSS Workshop for Women Graduate Students and Recent Ph.D.'s in Honor of Cheryl Schrader, the 2003 President of CSS".

Due to increasing production and mailing costs, the subscription rates for the Trans on Automatic Control and Trans on Control Systems Technology have been increased for 2003. However, a member of the IEEE CSS can receive electronic access to each of these journals (and all of their back issues) for a much lower price ($12 for AC and $8 for CST). Details can be found at www.ieee.org/renewal. Those who wish to join IEEE and the CSS can click on MEMBERSHIP on the www.ieee.org page. Unfortunately, the membership renewal mailings received by CSS members are not clear about this new option, and also don't make it clear that those who subscribe for printed journals also have electronic access.

August 2002, IEEE Senior Membership Applications. "I urge again WiC members to send in their IEEE Senior Membership applications (if eligible). The BoG has decided to make an extra effort to augment the number of senior members. All of you who could apply for senior membership, please do so..."
